it's ALIIIIIIIVE (+ a new way to work together)

Hi Reader,

BIG NEWS: After much fussing (and a few tech hiccups), I’m delighted to say the new website is finally, finally up!

I also now have a whole new respect for people who do web development for a living. Hats off to those folks!

I think it turned out pretty great. Come take a look: http://askingforwhatyouwant.com

👀 Oh, and if you find any mistakes in the site, please let me know. The first person to report something new will get a prize from me in the REAL LIFE mail. 📪

đź’– New Coaching Options

Along with the new site, I’ve opened up more space for coaching this spring, summer, and fall, in a small experiment with a new way to offer sessions.

You can now just book time with me directly on my site, whenever you need it. (Woo!)

The idea is simple: to make it easier for you to reach out at the moment something is actually happening… not three weeks later when the urgency has passed (or gotten louder.).

Because usually it’s something like:

👉 a conversation that didn’t quite land
👉 a date that went wonky
👉 a boundary you can feel but can’t quite name
👉 wanting something, but not knowing how to say it
👉 or realizing you don’t want to keep overriding yourself in the same way

And honestly, that’s often the exact moment where support makes the biggest difference.

If you’re new to working with me, sessions are 75 minutes.
Mostly so we have a little room to land and get oriented before jumping in.

If you’ve worked with me before as a coaching client or GGRP alum, you can book 60-minute sessions right away.

What’s important is this:
you don’t have to wait until it’s a whole thing to reach out.

You can get support when something is just starting to take shape.
When you’re still figuring out what you want.
When it would actually make a difference.

To me, this is part of building self-trust. Not just knowing what you feel, but letting that be enough of a reason to get support.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. (And, if you end up wanting something ongoing, we can always talk about that when we meet.)

I’m going to try offering it this way for a few months and see how it goes.

If something’s been on your mind lately, this might be a good moment to bring it in.
